Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – PCRC2026


1. Who can attend the Peace and Conflict Resolution Conference (PCRC2026)?
PCRC2026 is open to scholars, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, NGO representatives, educators, students, and anyone interested in peace, conflict resolution, mediation, or social justice. We welcome participants from all disciplines and sectors.

2. How do I submit a proposal?
All proposals are submitted through the Apply as Presenter form on the conference website. You will be asked to upload a 150–250 word abstract and basic information such as your name, affiliation, and contact email.

3. Is there a submission fee?
No. There is no fee for submitting an abstract or proposal.

4. When will I receive the acceptance decision?
Most applicants receive an acceptance decision within 7–10 days of submission. Decisions may take longer during peak submission periods.

5. Can I attend the conference without presenting?
Yes. We welcome attendees who wish to participate in sessions, discussions, and networking without giving a presentation. Please use the Apply as Attendee form.

6. What types of presentations are accepted?
PCRC2026 accepts:
  • Oral presentations
  • Virtual presentations
  • Poster presentations
  • Workshops / training sessions
    Both academic and professional submissions are welcome, including NGO, government, and community-based work.

7. What is the official language of the conference?
The official conference language is English. All abstracts and presentations should be in English.

8. How much is the conference fee?
Conference fees are listed on the Admission & Fees page. Fees vary by presentation type and attendance mode (in-person or virtual).

9. What does the admission fee include?
In-person participation includes:
  • Access to all sessions
  • Certificate of participation
  • Conference program
  • Refreshments during breaks
Virtual participation includes:
  • Access to virtual sessions
  • Certificate of participation (digital)
  • Program and materials (digital)

10. Do you provide funding or scholarships?
A limited number of partial scholarships may be available. These are awarded based on need and availability. Please indicate your interest in the application form.

11. Can I present virtually?
Yes. PCRC2026 offers a virtual presentation option for participants who cannot attend in person.

12. Where will PCRC2026 be held?
The conference will take place in Bangkok, Thailand. Venue details will be provided upon registration and added to the website.

13. Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. All registered participants (speakers and attendees, both in-person and virtual) will receive a Certificate of Participation.

14. Are group registrations available?
Yes. Groups from the same institution may request a group registration rate. Please contact us through the Contact page.

15. Do you publish conference proceedings?
Selected papers may be considered for publication depending on quality and relevance. Proceedings information is shared after the conference.

16. Do I need a visa to enter Thailand?
Visa requirements vary by nationality. Participants are responsible for checking entry rules. Upon request, an Acceptance Letter and Invitation Letter may be provided for visa applications.

17. Are meals included?
Refreshments are included during scheduled breaks. Meals are not included in the admission fee unless specified otherwise.

18. Can I bring a guest or family member?
Non-participating guests cannot attend sessions but may accompany you to Bangkok. Conference access is limited to registered participants.
