Call for Papers – PCRC2026

We invite submissions for the 11th Peace and Conflict Resolution Conference (PCRC2026), taking place from 13–15 November 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. PCRC2026 welcomes theoretical, empirical, and practice-based contributions that advance understanding of peace, conflict resolution, conflict transformation, and peacebuilding across diverse contexts.


The conference gathers researchers, practitioners, policymakers, educators, and peacebuilders from around the world to share insights, present new research, and explore collaborative approaches to creating sustainable peace.

Submission Types & Presentation Formats

Academic Submissions

Research papers and scholarly work that address peace, conflict resolution, conflict transformation, mediation, human rights, trauma healing, peace education, or related themes. Submissions should be current, clearly state the purpose, methodology, and outcomes, and demonstrate originality and contribution to the field.


Professional and Personal Development Presentations

Practice-oriented presentations relevant to conference themes, including training sessions, applied methodologies, reflective practice, leadership development, or field-based insights. These submissions should clearly articulate objectives, practical relevance, and key takeaways for participants.


NGO, Government, and Non-Profit Submissions

Case studies, project evaluations, policy initiatives, grassroots programs, and peacebuilding interventions conducted by NGOs, government agencies, civil society organizations, and community groups. Submissions must demonstrate societal impact, relevance to peace and conflict resolution, and clearly defined outcomes.

Evaluation Criteria

All submissions will be evaluated by the conference committee based on:

  • Relevance to conference themes
  • Clarity of purpose and expected outcomes
  • Originality and innovation
  • Quality and clarity of the abstract

These criteria apply equally to academic, professional, and NGO-related submissions.

Interdisciplinary perspectives are strongly encouraged. We welcome submissions from fields such as psychology, sociology, political science, education, law, international development, anthropology, humanitarian studies, and related disciplines.


Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract Submission: initial submissions should include a title, 250–300-word abstract, 3–5 keywords, author name(s), affiliation, and contact email.
  • Full Paper Submission (for accepted abstracts): PDF or Word format; must follow the conference’s template (will be provided after acceptance).
  • Language: English is the official language for submission and presentation.
  • Originality & Ethical Standards: Submissions must be original, unpublished, and free from plagiarism; if human subjects or sensitive data are used, appropriate ethical clearance must be declared.
  • File Size & Format: Maximum file size 3 MB; prefer .docx or .rtf over PDF for peer review if required.
  • Submission Portal: Authors should submit via the online submission form below

Presenting options

The following presentation formats will be possible at the conference:
  • Oral presentation: In-person to a live audience
  • Poster presentation:  Posters are exhibited in the conference hall or virtual conference platform (for remote poster presentation) and available for questions and discussions
  • Video presentation: Pre-recorded video, available for access and discussions on the virtual conference platform

Conference proceedings

Tomorrow People Organization is a member of CrossRef. Published paper will be assigned individual DOI and will be indexed in CrossRef citation database as well Google Scholar and PCRC digital library

Papers presented at the conference will be published in the official ISBN conference proceedings publication, if submitted by deadline and in the requested format.


In order to have your paper published in the official conference proceedings, your submission should have been previously approved and registration arrangements completed.


Paper publication is not mandatory. Authors who have completed registration arrangements and wish their paper to be published in the official conference proceedings publication must submit the final manuscript by October 1st 2026. Otherwise, only the abstract will be published if it meets formatting requirements and is approved by the PCRC2026 Reviewing board.

 

Author guidelines:

  • A4 size paper
  • Single line space
  • Margins: 2 cm on the left and 2 cm on the right
  • Format: Align left
  • No footers and headers allowed and no numbered pages
  • Abbreviations - The first time you use an abbreviation in the text, present both the full version and the short form
  • Fonts:

Deadline for proceedings submissions (for registered authors): October 1st 2026

Submissions received after this date or/and in a format different than specified will NOT be published. We strongly recommend early submissions to allow enough time for a review and feed back from the reviewing board.
