Call for papers

10th Peace and Conflict Resolution Conference [PCRC2023] accepts the following types of submissions and they will be evaluated as follows:

  • Academic submissions:
    1.  Currency, importance, and relevance to the conference themes
    2. Clearly states purpose and outcome
    3. Clearly states design methodology and findings* (applicable for complete research papers)
    4. Originality and innovation
    5. Clarity of abstract as indicator of presentation quality

  • Professional and personal development:
    1.  Relevance to conference themes
    2. Clearly states purpose and outcome
    3. Idea flow as and indicator of presentation quality
    4. Creative and inspirational
    5. Contains applicable and beneficial items

  • NGO, Government, Non-Profit:
    1.  Relevance to conference themes
    2. Clearly states purpose and outcome
    3. Idea flow as an indicator of presentation quality
    4. Clearly stated implementation
    5. Societal impact

Proposals are accepted on a rolling admission basis as long as space is available or by September 10th 2023 at the latest and are to be be submitted along with the application form. All submissions will be peer reviewed and acceptance/rejections is based on the criteria specified above, as well as professional and personal background of the applicant, in order to ensure a dynamic and diverse learning environment. Admission decisions are made on a rolling admission basis, within 7 days after the application has been submitted. Admission may close earlier than the date stated above if space in the conference fills up.

submission guidelines
10th Peace and Conflict Resolution Conference [PCRC2023] accepts applications for both attendees and presenters. In case you are applying as. presenter, you should submit and abstract of your paper/ outline of our proposed presentation (up to 300 words) along with the application form.

Your submission should include:


  • Title of your proposed presentation
  • Brief Introduction of what your presentation will cover​
  • Methodology and results (for research papers)
  • Keywords

Tomorrow People Organization is a member of CrossRef. Published paper will be assigned individual DOI and will be indexed in CrossRef citation database as well Google Scholar and
 
PCRC digital library. ​​

Papers presented at the conference will be published in the official ISBN conference proceedings publication, if submitted by deadline and in the requested format.

In order to have your paper published in the official conference proceedings, your submission should have been previously approved and registration arrangements completed.

Paper publication is not mandatory. Authors who have completed registration arrangements and wish their paper to be published in the official conference proceedings publication must submit the final manuscript by October 1st 2023. Otherwise, only the abstract will be published if it meets formatting requirements and is approved by the PCRC2023 Reviewing board.

 
Author guidelines:
  • A4 size paper
  • Single line space
  • Margins: 2 cm on the left and 2 cm on the right
  • Format: Align left
  • No footers and headers allowed and no numbered pages
  • Abbreviations - The first time you use an abbreviation in the text, present both the full version and the short form
  • Fonts:
                Title: Times New Roman 14 bold
                Subtitles: Times New Roman 12 bold
                Text: Times New Roman 12
  • Front section (first page):
  1. Title of submission
  2. Name/s of author/s
  3. Affiliation/s of the author/s
  4. E-mail address of corresponding author
  5. Abstract of maximum 250 words (or one page)
  6. Key words 3-10 (under abstract)
  • Main section (manuscript):
  1. Introduction
  2. Results (where applicable)
  3. Discussion
  4. Methodology (where applicable)
  5. Conclusion 
  • End section:
  1. Acknowledgments (where applicable)
  2. Funding (authors of academic research papers must clearly disclose sources of funding for conducting their  research; any grant received should be clearly indicated. If you have not received any external funding from your research, please state: "This research received no external funding)
  3. Conflict of interest (authors must state any circumstances that may be perceived as a conflict of interest in terms of representing or interpreting the research results. If there is no conflict of interest, please state: "Authors declare no conflict on interest")
  4. References (APA style)

Deadline for proceedings submissions (for registered authors): October 1st 2023
Submissions received after this date or/and in a format different than specified will NOT be published. We strongly recommend early submissions to allow enough time for a review and feed back from the reviewing board.
